About Our Farm
Dipple Farm is a place full of charm, history, and character. Our farmhouse and West Barn date back to the 17th century, with the South Barn following a century later. Unique to the site is our 1,500-year-old external spiral staircase, a rare historical feature that adds to the farmβs rich heritage.
We are carefully restoring and preserving the traditional structures while working the land for agricultural and leisure use. Ever-changing livestock includes chickens, ducks, sheep, pigs, horses, and sometimes goats. The farm is also home to a scenic campsite, featuring up to 15 spacious pitches suitable for camping and camper vans (max of four at a time).
About Our Nature
Surround yourself with nature as you explore our wild river meadows and tranquil woodland walks along the banks of our two rivers. Whether relaxing on the river beaches or spotting wildlife in the fields, hedgerows, and woodlands, youβll find plenty to discover across our 27-acre smallholding.
Dipple Farm offers a front-row seat to natureβs changing seasons. From the fresh bloom of bluebells and the arrival of spring lambs to the vibrant explosion of summer wildflowers and the golden transformation of autumn landscapes, every visit brings a new experience of natural beauty.
About Our Campsite
Opened in Summer 2021, Dipple Farm Camping is an eco-conscious, nature-focused campsite, designed for guests who want to reconnect with the land while maintaining a minimal environmental footprint. Our site offers spacious and flat pitches for tents and camper vans, ensuring a comfortable and immersive experience for all visitors.
We are proud of our campsite and our membership of the Greener Camping Club (βthe Clubβ), helping us positively influence sustainability by preserving local wildlife, reducing waste, and encouraging responsible camping practices.
